In a week or two I'll upload seasons 2 & 3 of "Get Smart" (the original US series from the 1960s) and I want to hopefully settle one thing before I do...
We know the car Maxwell Smart drove in the opening credits of the TV series "Get Smart" was a Sunbeam Tiger, and that he often drove it in the episodes. And that's how it's classified on the IMCDB page. But some sources say Max sometimes drove a Sunbeam Alpine (non-Tiger) instead. If that's true I want a separate page for the Alpine.
Thing is, if I saw a Tiger and an Alpine parked side by side, other than the badges I couldn't tell the difference. So here are images from various Season Three episodes. Can anyone tell me whether these are Tigers or Alpines? I did notice the "Tiger" badge is missing in these shots. TIA
