Neptune
About 11 more hours to go (for those who may be following along), before the
MSL Curiosity rover lands on Mars. Its still currently en route to Mars, and has been in transit for about 9 months.
Hoping all goes well, but there are lots of
steps that could go wrong. Curiosity will use a new landing system that includes a Sky Crane. Would not surprise me if NASA reports the sky crane failed or the cables did not detach and crashed with the rover.
