Send an answer to a topic: Is there a malfuction of the "search"-function or am I too stupid to do that?

Vehicles are first sorted by model, and then by year. That's why Daihatsu 1000 is first in the list.
Change Display Options: Sort By: Year to see the older vehicles first in the list. (Actually, vehicles with no year are shown first... search with a starting year of 1 to hide vehicles with no year listed)

I was searching for old Daihatsus and when I use the search-function in the database with just "Daihatsu", only 1970+ vehicles are shown!! Why that?
http://www.imcdb.org/vehicles.php?resultsStyle=asImages&yearFrom=&yearTo=&makeMatch=- 2&make=daihatsu&modelMatch=1&model=&modelInclModel=on&modelInclChassis=on&origin=- &madein=&madefor=&role=
Only when I narrow the seach down, for example with "1950 to 1970" also the older ones are shown
I'm digging around for that, since our roof had been repaired some days ago - our roofer (I didn't know him before) is a fan old old Japanese cars, especially Daihatsu. He owns a 1968 Daihatsu Jeep (he says, that this is a F10, but all sources are saying, that the F10 came up in 1974?!?) with 1.4 mio km on the clock.
His father's first car was a Daihatsu Compagno, he told me. He is half Northern Irish and grew up un Belfast, so for that reason his family has such old Daihatsu-experiences. In Germany 1977 was the first year, when Daihatsu appeared officially.
