I've looked through some 1998-2002 Town Car brochures and they did have standard rims for each trim, Gear Tooth for Executive Series, Snowflake for Signature Series and Cartier and this optional one for Cartier https://detroitwheelandtire.com/lincoln-town-car-factory-oem-wheel-rim-hollander-3318-1998-1999-2000-2001-2002.html

From the outside (as far as I know) there wasn’t really any difference. From the inside, there may have been a difference of some kind. Maybe Ford_Guy knows if there is any differences? Wait for him and see what he says.
I can research to find out, but my schedule won’t permit it at the moment. When I get time I’ll look into that for you.

The other night I was going through the post-2003 Town Cars and checking the rims, there were new designs brought in in 2005 and 2006 (see my recent comment that link to an auto parts site)
I noticed a lot of them were labelled Signature, I thought these were mostly guesses but then I found some of the brochure online, and indeed there were rims that were standard on the upper trim levels (Ultimate, Designer, Signature Limited) and optional on the base level trim (which was Signature after 2004) Then I released there were Town Cars made for the fleet market as well as the retail market, and the lowest trim, Executive was only available on fleet cars after '04.
My question is, can you tell a fleet/Executive trim car from a retail market Signature? Would a lot of these Town Cars used in films and TV series be fleet cars?
I'm hoping maybe Ford Guy or Neptune might know something.
