But what about rest of Europe then, where it is also sold as Yaris?

I'd like to point out that the reason Toyota Vitz is sold in Norway as Yaris, is because everyone'd pronounce Vitz as Vits, which means joke.

How about the Daihatsu Naked? Has that been mentioned?

Has the Proton Savvy been mentioned yet?
What about Morris Minor?

For me, the most stupid name is the Rover Cityrover. I don't see the point at repeating the Rover brand at the model name. But probably they did it because Rover City sounds 3 times worst.

Indeed, "say-at" seems to match how the name is said in French, not sure about original Spanish pronunciation.
But my message was rather about model names actually.

The problem with the name Seat is it reads "seet" (as in chair) in English, I think the correct pronunciation is "Say-At". They should have put an accent over the "a" or something.

In French these names are fine, but maybe in non-latin languages it is more a problem (I do not know what is in these video, right now I cannot watch them).

I always thought Seat was a stupid name for a car. I know it's pronounced "Say-At" but it's still spelt the way as the other word for chair. And then there's the Seat Arosa, which is a real dodgy name. Seat Arouser, sounds like something you'd buy in a sex shop.
Seat means "Sociedad Española de Automóviles y Turismos" (Spanish Society of Cars and Automobiles). I think that Seat has very nice names (The Seat Ibiza, says that is a funny and nippy car, as Ibiza is) But the problem was when Seat exported it's cars, making names easy to pronunce in Spanish as Marbella or Cordoba unpronunceable in other languages, as those videos prove: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DVFyjNd2Vxw
