In Australia they discontinued the W900 in 1987!

Some sad news to share from the world of trucking. For years, rumors have been circulating about Kenworth discontinuing the famed W900… however, earlier this month, KW officially announced that the W900, C500 and T800 will be discontinued in 2026 solely due to ever-increasing stringent US emissions on diesel engines. If this were to occur, this will end the 6th known longest running nameplate, dating back to 1961.
