I'm writing from Italy. I want to inform that in the series of
4 films - PIEDONE - where the well known spaghetti-western actor
OSCAR PEDERSOLI alias BUD SPENCER is a Naples Police detective
there are lots of interesting cars of the 60-70s.
The first film is made in 1973 in Naples. There are of course
italian cars of the period and Police's olive green Alfa
Romeo Giulias but also a wonderful Citroen DS19 first series
with round headlights that is tragically destroyed from Bud Spencer himself. The second film is PIEDONE in Hong Kong and it is
filmed in HK and Bangkok -in the same period of JB's THE GOLDEN GUN MAN. The third is PIEDONE the AFRICAN and it is filmed in
South Africa with interesting local cars and an oldtimer FIAT 500
The last movie is Piedone in Egypt and there are many traffic
scenes in the chaotic Cairo town and some inhedited vehicles like
a Mazda Bongo van for example.
I'm looking for the DVDs of these movies.
