When I was 14 I actually drove my grandmother's car in a deserted parking lot. She would let me practice there every once in a while until I got a permit, Then I can only drive with a supervised person 25 and older whether it's an older sibling, parent or guardian. Best to practice with a relative rather than a close friend.
