Picked up a few items to make my car just a tad classier. I went to the junkyard to find a seatbelt receptacle since the front passenger's belt buckle has been a little flakey since I bought the car (I've never bothered to tell my passengers LOL!). I love browsing at the junkyard so I grabbed a few parts while wandering around.
The brake pedal is from a FWD Cadillac Deville. It fits perfectly top to bottom, but it's wider than the metal pedal. It's not a big deal since it fits pretty snug and I have no problem with it. The cap on the turn signal is from a FWD Lincoln Continental (which shares the same platform as my car). The Lincoln also had a chromed tilt steering lever and shifter, but I think it's too much chrome for my liking. I wanted to grab a chrome outlined pad (like some higher end GMs) for the regular brake pedal, but the metal part is too bloody massive for any other car's pedal pad to fit. Even the Continental has a smaller pedal, which I found odd.
Anyways, I also grabbed a few goodies for my collection:
