A few days ago, Buc84 mentioned that 1995 might have been the last year the Crown Victorias had the "CROWN VICTORIA" badge next to the front door, just above the side moulding. The 1996 and 1997 models did not. So I decided to do some research on this as I was not aware of this difference, and it appears that he is correct. Thanks to this new information, we will be able to narrow down the years even more.
Now, I know that I will probably be the only one to remember this very well, and since I already put in the years for most of the Crown Victorias that are added to the site, I'll be on the lookout for this difference when it comes to the 1995-1997 models. I can make the changes myself to the Crown Victorias of that era already listed, but it might take me a bit.
Just as an FYI to antp, I'm for the most part done with the VIN id's on the CV's. I know that many of them don't have the VIN, and that is simply because I can't tell for sure the exact vin those cars might have. This is especially the case with taxis, as many times I don't know if they're ex-police cars.
