Just to update, my parents have decided to get a new car, the Tempras done 15 good years & although its as new inside & out & the mechanicals are still all excellent(same mechanically as the Delta HF integrale but 8v & without the turbo), the electrics have been playing up, mainly age hardened wiring in the engine bay & some bad earths on minor things.

They want another estate ideally 1.6.

Mum wants an Astra or Vectra, Dad wants a Golf, but I`m trying to talk them into a Skoda Octavia...

I think I`ll have the Tempra off them, as I said its immaculate, the electrical issues are minor to me & its a big handy old box + is reasonably quick (I`ve had 125mph+ out of it!), even if it does handle like a jelly on skates...
