Well, I would think the Town Car would have been sold there for limousine conversions and luxury taxis etc...
Luxury taxis use rather large German cars I think. When you see important/politic people, they use Audi, BMW, etc. rather than US cars.
Limousine conversion is a typical US thing: these are too big for here
Such stretched cars are really less common here.For a wedding for example I guess that in US it is common to hire such limousine, but here typical wedding car is often an old restored car, Citroën "Traction Avant" being one of the most common.
And isn't the Mustang sold almost everywhere since it is so popular?
It is popular, but here it is rather because it is seen as an exotic US car, not popular in the way "everyone can have one"
