Did some wandering around today, here's a bunch of stuff I saw. You can decide what's interesting and what isn't.
I'm Feeling to lazy to crop the pictures or take the plates out, sorry.
Oh, nobody break into any of these cars, or the guy who owns the F250 in the background here will run me over
I was still wandering around the parking lot taking pictures when he was leaving, and he pulled over and started yelling and swearing at me, saying I was going to break into people's cars.
I'm laughing now, but he was a really big guy, and he was pretty pissed off.
That sort of thing is why I don't do this very often (and why I don't shoot cars on private property. Except the International Harvester. I had a good reason!), people are unreasonable.
Oh, and the foreground. It's just a beat up Caprice, I thought it was interesting.
Chrysler Neon for taxiguy:
The reason I was wandering around a supermarket parking lot in the first place was to find the Pontiac Wave you also asked for, but I didn't notice any.
Here's another Chrysler though:
I've seen these, but I didn't know they were called Town & Country.
XJ6, looked to be in very nice condition.
Then a new one pulled up;
I'm not sure what that one is, I think the guy in the F250 pulled up and started swearing at me here.
Been meaning to shoot this car for a while. It seems strange that someone would go to such effort modifying a MkI Cavalier. This is the same car audio shop that had the Testarossa I shot before. This car is always here though.
You can see my ratty old bike in the background here
Pretty sure that's not an intercooler.
There's another car stereo shop a few blocks away, they're not as subtle:
You can't really see the texture of the roof here, it's some kind of synthetic fabric. Looks pretty silly, anyway.
Took these to back up my claim here:http://www.imcdb.org/vehicle.php?id=169651
Is the gas tank in the front fender? Weird.
I sort of keep track of which SUVs I see with huge wheels more often then others;
It's mostly various GMs. Lowriders seem to mostly be GM, too (but not around here, because we don't have any).
1: I like GMT800 Silverados 2: Kal Tire has a nice paint scheme.
I actually stopped for this:
Two (or three) in three blocks, what are the chances? If you're in the UK and think the chances are pretty good, they aren't.
The local Constabulary:
Big fat Airstream:
There's a Lincoln Navigator in front of this.
70s Ford time:
351 Mach 1:
Nice Ranchero;
I was waiting for it to pull out to get a shot of the front, but it turned left.
Sounded cool though.
Another 70s Mustang, not as nice as the Mach 1:
Can anyone tell me the years for these? Mustangs seem to be basically the same from '71 to '73
540i parked behind the Mach 1:
Pretty hardcore looking tires.
STI:
See the R32 Skyline in the background here? I didn't. I only noticed it when it pulled out (loudly) onto the street and I shot this:
It's really not a very good camera
No other JDM stuff today, sadly.
