That's Junior ...

"Junior" (entered into the DARPA Urban Autonomous Vehicle Challenge by Stanford University) is a 2006 Volkswagen Passat Wagon TDI B6 [Typ 3C]

I remember seeing Junior on the Science Channel when it aired the DARPA Urban Challenge. Junior had more programming than any other car at the event. At one point during the race, two other autonomous vehicles collided, stopping traffic flow. Junior stopped when it came upon the accident. However the Stanford team went into a state of panic when they found out that DARPA delayed to relay information to them about Junior waiting patiently in traffic for the accident to be cleared.

They said that Junior had so much programming and logic that it would wait for only a certain amount of time. After that, Junior would start trying to "figure out" what would be the best way to get around the accident.
