Now two more, very important:
2.13+
1960 Dodge Dart Phoenix, four stars
2.13
1960 Dodge Dart Seneca, two stars
Now the back story:
In three different episodes, Sergeant Carter is seen driving the beautiful Phoenix. In episode 2.13, the classic "Gomer Minds His Sergeant's Car," we find out that Carter loves and babies his car, and is known for it. Then he's called out of town to bring back an AWOL Marine, so Gomer has to drive him to the airport and the car is left in his care. Naturally, the car is promptly stolen, then totalled.
But when I went to pull images from this show and from this episode, I noticed something for the first time ever: just before the car gets smacked with the wrecking ball, it suddenly turns into the lower-trimmed vehicle, the Seneca. It's obvious by the side trim and roof shape, and by the fact Carter's car was a hardtop earlier and this one has sedan posts. (Edit: I just noticed, after seeing these on another computer, they aren't even the same shade of red.) Evidently the producers didn't want to destroy the higher valued Phoenix.
So I'm submitting these as two different cars, the doomed Seneca (two stars, just this one scene albeit a very crucial one), and the beloved Phoenix.
Here are some alternate shots of the Phoenix from earlier episodes:
