Ahh, you met the Expedition’s daddy ...
A upscale XLT or Lariat version from the 2004-2008 model range (P221)
Fitted with the Heavy-Duty Trailer Tow Package. It also has a hich ball like the Suburban you found. I wonder if some people import these for towing ?
Ford F-150 and Expedition Towing features include:
• Heavy-Duty V-5 Class IV Weight Distributing Hidden Trailer Tow Hitch
(Supports both Weight Carrying and Weight Distributing, Class III or lower grade Light-Duty hitches only support Weight Carrying. Most SUVs and smaller trucks are only equipped with Class III type hitches)
• Wiring Harness / includes 4 and 7 pin Quick Connectors
• Prewired for Electronic Trailer Brake Controller Module
• Towing Mirrors with LED Clearance turning signals
(LED Clearance turning signals are at the bottom of the towing mirrors and are rearward facing to alert drivers who attempt to overtake a F-150 or Expedition with large trailer in tow, that the towing vehicle is about to perform a lane change)
• Fully Independent Electro-Pneumatic Suspension
(Detects when a Trailer is present, and levels the load accordingly / Only available on Expedition)
• Heavy-Duty Auxiliary Transmission Oil Cooler
• Heavy-Duty High-Flow Radiator
• Heavy-Duty Flashers
Vehicles are prepped and ready to tow, right out of the box.
