My impressions from our Scotland-trip in the second half of April:

- Very strange was a Winnebago-campmobile, which was based on a Renault Trafic! I've never seen that before! Even it wasn't maybe a real Winnebago, it was an unknown coachbuilt, quite big and in US-style. It had an US-plate underneath the British plate (a personalized plate, USA ... T)

- I've seen two Campmobiles, based on a Citroen Visa (both British plates)

- Is my impression correct, that the orign British truck-brands are nearly totally disappeared? I've seen less and less at every Scotland-trip, we made in the last years. This time only one Scammell-towing truck, just 3 ERF-trucks and a handfull of Foden's. And we made 2400 km on UK-roads.

- other cars, worth to mention were a Mustang T5 on the Isle of Skye (German plates), a chrome-MGB in Inverness (Swiss plates), in the same town also a DKW 3:6 and a Sunbeam Imp (in racing-trim), both British cars. On the ferry back there was an Alfa Giulia Sport near to us, driven by two Scotsmen. It was in complete racing-trim. They were probably on the way to an classic car-event. There were some stickers of the 1000 Miglia and such events on it.
