I don't know if anybody can get this, but there was an old "Our Gang/Little Rascals" short from 1936 called Divot Diggers.

There is a three star scene where the kids cause some chaos with an old tractor with a lawn-mowing attachment. I always suspected the lawn mower was an old pre-depression era Ford, but I can't be 100% sure.
