And a while ago, I had some time to kill downtown so I did what anyone would do and sat on a bench for an hour and took pictures of taxis. I'm trying to document as many liveries as possible before the taxicab commission sinks its fangs too deep.
Most of them were the usual; Crown Victorias, Grand Marquises, Town Cars, Camrys, Prii, but there were a few gems. Some of the more unusual taxis:
GMC Yukon Denali of Yellow Cab Company
2008-2009 Mercury Sable of Reliable Cab
1997-at-the-newest Lincoln Town Car of, appropriately, Lincoln Cab
And, my personal favorite, 1999-2000 Mercury Villager in top-of-the-line Estate trim of Elite Cab (for perspective, of the 54 Villagers on IMCDb, only 5 are second-generation models like this)
