Also to be added to Task-Force trucks?
- the 4500, 6700 and 6800 school buses, 1958-59 ones being Viking buses (some errors in dates, but to be seen in comments);
- the medium-duty trucks of that time:
∗ 1955-57 Task Force ("only"
) 4100, 4400, 6100, 6400 and 10200.
∗ 1958-59 Task Force Viking (no 4100), 4400 (⇒ as already said, I think they should become "40" in IMCDb, as it is the number one can see on the trucks and in the brochures), 6100 and 6400 (⇒ both "60").
This last 6400 is an LCF, so IF really "5400" (cf. comment in the page) the name should be 1959 Chevrolet LCF-50 Viking or 1959 Chevrolet LCF-Series Viking [50](1).
- There is errors on dates for almost one truck in three. I'll put propositions of correction in comment step by step. I haven't your Flash skills
- The way some numbers were given to trucks brings about some teeth-grinding: guessing the next number at the roulette table looks sometimes more scientific, and I'm not sure IMCDb gains in seriousness with some of the identifications. But I'll certainly create a thread for it.
Thanks for all the work done about this. It's easy to point out "naming disorder" but I known the corresponding work that has to be done in the Db is not that fun

(1): I noticed some admins put the 3100, 3800, 4100, etc. numbers as "chassis" number. I think it's a interesting way of identification, as it allow to gather several generations of a same size of truck for some researches. Will the next generation of IMCDb use a kind of tags which could help that way?
