If origin was just the make, we could make that fully automatic instead of specifying it for each car (normally it should be specified only once per model, but the current site has no model-list management).
Origin = where the car was conceived/designed. The New Beetle was from VW's Californian offices.
Like we also have many Brazilian-origin VW.
We added the "built in" flags as additional info as often the car aren't produced in the country they were conceived.
