Austin was launched Oct 64, Morris March 66, Wolseley 18/85 March 67 so Austin had 18/30 months head start over other versions, even where export markets may have been Morris territory. Most ADO17 were made at Austin Longbridge - including later Morris; Cowley only did some early Morris. So ADO17 range is very much an Austin product whatever badges might be fixed.
