Another weird looking one-shot car, made in 1958 by a coach-builder in the former DDR (East Germany), the VW Neumann-Coupé:

If my rusty German (and the online translator I used to help it
) didn't fool me, it has been made on a VW Kübelwagen basis, interested some people in the VW staff and in the DDR ministries, but it eventually stayed as single model.
Did I hear some sighs of relief?
