I thought it was related to the xnview problem you tried to describe previously.
So it is for making captures in Netflix? You were using the capture function of XnView? It captures fine but can't save? Or it can't even capture?
In the latter case, maybe try the program "Fraps"; maybe it will work for video overlay, it is originally more for games but it may work for video...
