I do not really see the problem. When the cars are in the street, their image is "public", no? Well, maybe it is better to hide licence plates (that's what I do when I publish pictures).
No, there is not a law against taking photos of other people’s vehicles, but around here where I live; there use to be a group of thieves that would take pictures of vehicles before they would steal them. Furthermore I don’t want pictures of my license plate floating around for eyes with bad intentions to see, or worse; end up on the internet.
And no, G-MANN my Land Cruiser might not be a attractive vehicle, in fact lots of people don’t care for or like them. My neighbors think it’s absolutely hideous and wish I would take it back to the dealership I got if from. I would bet that I’m the only one here that likes the Toyota Land Cruiser. However, I make the payments on it, I use it to go places I can’t get to in a car, and I require it’s cargo room. I acquired it because I needed it, and because I wanted it, and that’s all that matters.
