The line about the "Mad Max" coupe "That particular Falcon, the V8 Interceptor, they never sold that in America" is rather nonsensical. They didn't sell them in Australia, either - it was created specifically for the movie. Built from an XB Falcon hardtop, but not something that was ever sold to the public.

And really, how many Australian Falcons DID Ford sell in the US? Pretty much none, I'd have thought.
