What do you mean by adding/removing models?
If you mean making a list of known rebadging, you can but it will be much more useful to do that when we will have a place to input the info, when the new site will be ready

I was indeed thinking to a table in a thread of the forum that should be feed by everybody's comments. But you seem to say it's not useful for now. As I'm a lazy person, I'll wait until the tool for it is ready, in this case

Kangoo/Citan is just a rebadging : it is the same car with another front-end. So it is normal to link them (and the only Citan on the site has France as origin country).

Only rebadging or closely related models are interesting as links between models.
So most of the time only if in the same family (Renault/Nissan/Samsung, Fiat/Chrysler/Dodge, etc.)?
Is a Renault Kangoo / Mercedes Citan also a good example, as Twingo 3 / next Smart? Maybe this last one will be just a plateform sharing, so let's forget it for now...
As I wont ask for each (this post would last a bit for all models I think about ), I propose to start a table, and add/remove models with IMCDb admins and contributors comments. Are you Ok?

That's just common platforms or components, these info aren't useful, especially nowadays where they share everything. There is wikipedia for these advanced info.

There are a lot of rebadged cars not linked.
They 'll stay as they are for now...
They 'll stay as they are for now...
Seems logical.
They are sometimes more than a re-branding: the Ford Ka and the Fiat 500/Panda are not siblings in sight, but share the same "underwear". Same thing for Mercedes ML and Jeep Grand Cherokee
Will that kind of information be useful for the IMCDb 2.0? If so, no problema, I can start it.
And thanks to who set the codes on Fluence, ZOE and SM3. Oh, The 2009 SM3 is a L38, not a N17
The Renault Scala will remain as a N17 long Bus Dacia, in Renault Code, that's Ok

For now eLMer (or another enterprising individual) can start a forum post documenting all the linked chassis/models/etc for different makes. I think it would be a useful reference, and helpful for updating the database once IMCDbV2.0 comes along

Is there a way to "cross" the makes for a chassis / model type in the db? The problem occurs with the Renault Fluence / Samsung SM3:
- Renault Fluence = 2009+ Samsung SM3 2nd gen. = Renault L38 (L, because it exists only as a 4 doors sedan car).
It should be the code for the 16 Fluence models of the IMCDb.
But what about the only one 2nd gen. Samsung SM3 that is in the database? Should it be identified as a Renault L38 model (which it is, in fact. But is it even possible to do it?), or as a (loner for now) Samsung L38, but then without a link between the two sibling cars?
Another (inverted) problem: this Renault Scala is identified as a Renault N17, while N17 is a Samsung code only...
In Renault language, N17 would mean it's a 1980-1999 Dacia 1310 long chassis bus "X17"
...
(The others SM3 without model year should be set to 2002 and "Samsung N17" coded)
