My drivers ed car at school was a 1980 Mazda GLC, but I did most of my learning on my mother's 1977 Ford LTD Country Squire station wagon. That thing was like piloting a cruise liner. And it's the one where I took my drivers' test, with a grumpy Alabama State Trooper who jumped my case for doing a "rolling stop" at two stop signs.
