looks like your dream comes from a movie....or you could turn that dream into a movie chase...

As you might know i write books, but they are not available in english yet. Writing car chases is difficult, as that is a visual experience. Despite my eager attempts to create good car chases, my readers said the Titanic scene was the best. :kiki:

This Titanic was voted so good, because i took several weeks into investigation about the Titanic. I wanted to create an exceptional experience and my readers review tells me i succeeded.

Part of my investigation included looking through old pictures, watching the Titanic movie again ( ) and checking through surviving documents. Over a year after i finished writing the sequence i noticed that i accidentally swapped the Smoking Saloon with the Dining Room. Due to my very serious investigation i changed the scene. So the only remaining "Goof" was that the main character did an impossible jump all across the promenade deck just by swinging on a rope hanging down from the boat deck (the upmost one). I dont know how wide the Promenade deck really was, but believe me: Its impossible.

All those reviews told me one thing: Write more historic scenes. I am planning to write a book that is set in the 1920s. Currently i am doing research about it. I already checked what the daily income of several jobs was and how expensive cars were.

This is the page i consulted:

http://www.thepeoplehistory.com/20scars.html

Guess i have to choose the 1921 Yellow Cab, as all other cars on that page are newer than the books setting.
