Well, it's been a while since I contributed to this thread. I had an eventful summer. I'll have to share some vacation photos later, but today I'll start with my dashcam sightings.
1998-1999 Hyundai Accent sedan on Interstate 70 in Maryland. The car isn't noteworthy by itself, but it is for how it was being used. He was setting the pace on the interstate, window down, cigarette in hand. I didn't think these cars could do 90 MPH when they were new.

Mazda RX-7 convertible
August 5, drove to the beach in North Carolina. Not far from home I caught this Eunos Cosmo, a luxury coupe made by Mazda in the early '90s and sold only in Japan; now old enough to legally import to the USA.
'80s Oldsmobile Custom Cruiser
August 12, I drove back home. In Chesapeake, VA, I caught this Nissan Skyline [R32], another JDM car now legal to import
August 12 was terrible weather for traveling; I came within an inch of rear-ending a boat on a trailer. This Mustang was less lucky and got rear-ended by an F-150.

My camera has poor night vision, but that's a 1972 Pontiac Luxury LeMans, trust me
I drove to South Carolina with my sister and her boyfriend to watch the total solar eclipse on August 21. Anyone know what a trailer like this would be used for? It looks like a prop from a Jurassic Park movie.

1973 Pontiac Grand Ville convertible
In the dead of night we were passed by a convoy of five police cars escorting an armored transport. It looked like that movie cliche where they're transporting a highly dangerous criminal or gold bars or something.
Rare Bering HDMX. Bering Truck imported Hyundai trucks and sold them in the USA 1999-2001; there's only 1 on the site and it's a lightweight LD model (plus 1 more LD visible but not listed).
Ferrari F12 Berlinetta
2012-2014 Toyota RAV4 EV, production limited to 2600 units. Wikipedia says it was sold to individuals in California, and to fleets nationwide.
Two cars behind that vision of the future, something decidedly atavistic: 1979-1981 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am
