Jun: I understand that Lassie is very popular still in Japan. Yes this is the Lassie that ran from 1954 to 1964 in black and white. In American syndication seasons 1-4 are called "Jeff's Collie," 5-11 are called "Timmy and Lassie," and 12-19 are just "Lassie." The show originally aired as "Lassie" for 17 seasons Sundays at 7pm Eastern on CBS. It aired in first-run syndication for the last two seasons.
