Thanks for listing, but I do not think my mother will be buying a car for about a few months. btw if you haven't noticed I'm not a member at the database right now. I'm only a member of the forums. That's why a all of my comments are gone. But for the car I'll say it could be a Lexus ES350, Infiniti G35, or Ford Taurus/Mercury Sable.

Why are you not a member of the site, just the forum?

Well Neptune, we bought a new car. Cadillac STS.

Congrats to you and your family!!! MBSL65fan. Is it the new STS? and if so, I have seen them around here at home, and I think they look pretty darn good. I hope it gives your family years of faithful service (or for however long your family keeps it  )

Thanks. But I've been away from home lately so I have not seen it yet. I hope this time we have BOSE. It's a 2007 STS I don't know if it has a V6 or V8, and I think may be in white diamond. It's a company car so we're good. But I wish they waited til 2008 because of a new look for next year, but you can't have everything in life.

Just thought I'd describe our car... ...Heated and cooled front seats...

Ahhh, yes those heated and cooled seats. Those are sweet aren’t they  I use to think such options were absurd and useless, but after those last few weeks of hellish heat we had here in NC, I grew very fond of my Expedition Limited’s heated and cooled climate controlled seats. Leather gets hot in the summer anyway (it likes to stick to skin :tinostar: ) but having air conditioned leather seats were a blessing as they kept my skin from fusing to the Leather. :sol:

BTW, is the car fully loaded? I’m assuming it is, if equipped with the luxury package. I don’t know how Cadillac goes about their package bundles. My Expedition Limited came equipped with the preferred Limited Edition Luxury Package along with the two other major packages (the Ultimate Electronics Package & Comfort & Convenience Group Package) which includes all luxury options.

Currently, Ford has combined all but one of them, and I was wondering if Cadillac does the same. :huit:

No it's not. It doesn't have a navigation system. For the exterior it has a spoiler, and polished 17 inch rims which almost looks like chrome. It doesn't have premium floormats either. Here's the list of the luxury package.

These are the different packages for the 2007 STS

-STS V6 standard
-STS V6 luxury (our car)
-STS V6 luxury performance
-STS V8 luxury
-STS V8 luxury performance
-STS V8 premium luxury performance
-STS V-Series

The base price is around $43,000. I know that the Expedition Limiteds are around $45,000 when new. I do not know how much exactly we paid, but since our company bought it, and that we have 0% apr from the Cadillac Summer Event it'd be around the same price as your Expedition. Another thing is that it was a dealer demo car and it was sold as new but it was somewhat used. We love it, but the passenger seat wasn't working at one point and it was fixed for free.

Sounds like a awesome car. I bet it looks good with the spoiler. (I like spoilers anyway as they make almost any car look sporty :sol: ) wickey’s Volvo has a spoiler which I thought looked good also. Just be sure to wash it often, I know that White shows dirt awful after it rains.

ad cooled seats - must be a sweet option (I have only heated ones in my Volvo), but still - after few hours of sitting on the top of an ice-cube (your seat  ) - don't you have troubles with your back?

Not really, the seats don’t get ICE cold, just cool. On a cold level of 1-10 (One being barely cool/ Ten being so cold you can’t stand it) the Leather seats in my Expedition probably get to a level of 7; which is cold enough for me considering I also have the literally ice cold air conditioning blasting me in the face. However seats in my Expedition Limited aren’t my favorite option. :huit:

Not when it's 100+ degrees, where I'm at.

Ditto

A few times during the summer, it will top out at over 100 degrees; plus when you factor in the high humidity, it can get somewhat unbearable here in southern NC. So air-conditioned seats are a blessing.

Actually, it might be a Luxury Performance package. I'm not positive but the spoiler on the trunk and measuring the rims (18 inch) I might be wrong. It is though either a luxury or luxury performance package.
