Sandwad2 recently added 3 brand new chevrolets to the glee site. They have been listed as from a trailer or preview only.
They are actually from a chevrolet ad that just featured the glee kids and made to look like a preview. Could a moderator please remove them from the page and put them in the comments since we dont allow ads to be added to the site, and i cant do this myself as ive not yet been made a moderator.

It is a commercial promoting both the Chevrolet commercial featuring the cast of "Glee" and the episode of "Glee" following the Super Bowl.

It sets up the "plot" where Sue tries to trick the glee club in to doing a commercial in exchange for Chevrolet cars. By doing a performance for money or other compensation, the club would be ineligible/disqualified from amateur glee club competitions. This mirrors the plot of an early episode of "Glee" when the club performed in a commercial for a local matress store.

This commercial contains a summary of the events of the first commercial, an actual Chevrolet commercial featuring the cast of "Glee," and then we see the glee club figure out Sue's plan.

None of this was ever mentioned in the actual episode of "Glee" that followed the Super Bowl. My view is that this is basically a commercial for Chevrolet featuring the cast of "Glee." However, I do think sandwad2 has a point. This was presented like a "minisode" or "webisode." The actors played their characters from the show and the commercials did have a brief plot/story. Many shows have done "minisodes" or "webisodes," and in many cases they feature heavy product placement. For example, "24" did a web series called "The Rookie" and "Desperate Housewives" did a series called "Another Desperate Housewife." In addition, companies have produced short films to promote their products, like BMW's series "The Hire." So, while I feel this should be in the comments section, I do see sandwad2's point. I would like to see what others think, and maybe we can come to a consensus on how this sort of thing should be handled.
