So, my dad and I finally went to the junkyard this afternoon and I got pictures! (And yes I have your badges now CCF and marioman )
1977-79 Impala
Cadillac Brougham (CCF, I got some badges and a hood ornament for you off of this one )
Buick Roadmaster Estate (58Roadmaster, I got some badges off of this one if you would like me to send them to you )
1992 Crown Victoria
Tauruses
1990s Crown Vics
1980s LTDs/Mercurys
2000 Crown Victoria
1995-97 Crown Victoria
1982 Caprice
1980s Cadillac Limo
Various full-size GMs 1970s-1990s
Buick and Olds
Buick Roadmaster
1977-79 Olds
Another 1977-79 Olds
1980s Cadillac
1992 Olds Custom Cruiser So sad, one of only 12,000 built and it's junk. But, on the way home I did see another one just like it driving around, so at least they're not all dead
1976 Olds Ninety-Eight. This one's pre-downsizing, so she's a biggie!
1980s Olds Wagon and Cadillac Sedan
1990s Caprice and 1980s Caprice
Now, I really hit the jackpot here! I saw this 1986 Caprice front-clip lying just around
So, after 50 bucks spent, and a little cramming into the trunk of our Camry, this treasure was mine
I plan on hanging it on the wall in my room, and my dad said he can even hook up the headlights to the electricity so it can serve as a lamp and a decoration. Boy, am I glad I found this!

Yes, that was a vinly roof on the CV
My dad and I were laughing about it, as it is so hideous
Will you beleive that some people in America put vinly roofs on Camrys, and once I even saw one on an Escort
Anyway, I will send you a private message shortly regarding the badges

taxiguy, your idea for a wall decoration reminded me of the Volvo one seen here:

In "my" rooms the main decoration were always, since over 25 years: license-plates.
Now in our house, I've decorated my private office-room with them, too, surely.
But one wall is reserved for K 70-related stuff, photos, pics and other stuff in glass-frames and one wall for travel-memories like tickets, etc. (in glass-frames, too).

Some cars there that are newer and look better than many cars on the road in America these days, like the 1996 Taurus. It's pretty new for a scrapyard in America. I'm also surprised at all the Crown Victorias, although I guess most of them are probably clapped out ex Police cars or taxis with enormous mileages on the clocks. Was the 2000 one accident damaged?

Yeah, that generation of Tauruses and Sables have only started showing up there rather recently. I too was surprised when I saw the first one there, which I beleive was in about 2006, maybe 2007. I have also started seeing 1997+ Escorts in there too, also a recent addition. Just goes to show how horribly built American cars are, that they can barely last more than ten years. Toyotas and Hondas are and most likely always will be so much better than GM, Ford, and especially Chrysler.
As for the Vics, only one was actually a Police interceptor, the rest were civilian models. They are pretty common cars around here, especially with the elderly community (including my Grandmother who has a '92 Crown Vic) so I am not surprised to see so many there.
And yes the 2000 model did appear to be accident damaged, other than that one I have never seen a Crown Vic in there newer than a 1994 model.

Very nice! love that '76 Olds, pity it's in bad condition. There's a yard in my town full of old American cars. I once went there and took photos of the many classics that were sadly rotting away. Might upload them here soon.
