Can you afford a windscreen? a cracked?broken windscreen makes an accident look realistic...
Maybe you cold try getting airborn, and have the view right umder the car...

Don't get carried away here, these are far from stunt cars you know
In fact I think I may have knocked my Dodge's suspesion out of alignment today backing up a curb at high speed

I decided to make this a two-parter video. I've added some clips and rearranged the others to complete part one.
You can watch it here:

Hopefully filming for part 2 can begin next week when my car's tire is replaced.

Very cool.
I've been thinking of ways chases end without crashing;
-Simply outrun: They have about the same power, don't they? That would give the advantage to the 600, since it's lighter. I imagine it slowly building distance on a winding mountain road, eventually getting out of sight. Then the 88 comes to an intersection... the 600 is nowhere to be seen, damn! Not very climactic though.
-A train crossing, the lead car makes it before the train. Should be easy to do.
-A drawbridge. Very easy... if there is one in your area.
-Going through an alley, a big truck blocks the exit. You just have to get a big truck to cooperate somehow.
-Inspiration has struck!: The chase car gets a flat.
I like the new stuff, but I'd like to see a real car-chase-style reverse 180. It feels like the car will flip over, but it won't (disclaimer: I'm a person on the internet and should not be trusted with your life and/or property :D).

I had the idea of a turn and slide into a shipping container (or garage, something simalr), the doors shut and the Olds goes past and can't find it.

taxiguy, I don't suppose you kept your convertible's old (broken) rear window? You could throw some of the pebbles around to simulate another broken window. Maybe the 600's driver hides in a parking garage and steals another car to get away.

Haha atom's idea with the damagages, made of painted paper is very good.
Your Dodge is silvermetallic, so you can use aluminium-folie for it.
Or just eat many pizzas! Some pizza-boxes are plated with aluminum inside, so you can use them.

If there a drawbridge shall be participating, it's a must to have the real dialogue for it:

Ooooh, and a "toys 'r" us"-market is strictly required!

Maybe the whole location is still available for making movies, after 30 years:
