Crop image or leave intact?

Sometimes the best shot of a vehicle is when it is very small in the frame. If the source is higher resolution than the IMCDB size limit, is it better to crop to highlight the car or just resize the image?

Example from 1080i video:

Resize only?

Crop only, no resize?
http://img413.imageshack.us/img413/3695/oneq.th.jpg

Or maybe a compromise, a slight crop & resize?
I think in this particular example the cropped one doesn't really look much better, just bigger :wink:

In most of the cases it is better to keep the full pic (except cropping black borders)
Cropped pic can be added in comments though.

I hate cropped pictures... I agree with antp, you can add the cropped picture in the comments, but please don't crop the main picture :smile:
