I ran across this uncut footage (some of you may have already seen it) of a preliminary frontal crash test, said to be dated 1980, of a De Lorean DMC 12 test mule.

I was surprised to see that it had air bags. I was even more surprised to see it has dual front air bags, for both driver and front passenger! I never knew they had tested DMC 12s with dual front air bags. I had read somewhere that the production cars never included air bags though. Wonder why?
