On our dear IMCDb,
Dacia Sandero are listed as origin Romania
Renault Sandero are listed as origin France
I'm confused. What's different between first generation Dacia & Renault Sanderos?
(not counting Sandero Stepway, origin Brazil)

It is probably due to the automatic country assignation from the make.
It should be Romanian like other Dacias.

Oops Well it is the other way round then, all Dacia Sandero should be French. Maybe the same for the Logan?
Also, the oldest Dacias are just Renault 12 under license: these should also be French origin.

Yes. Also Dacia 1100 (R8) - which is, in fact, the oldest Dacia, 1300 being the next model.

Actually Stepway it's a "trim" for Sandero in Br*zil... not valid the braz*lian origin just for this.

^ that's a valid argument too... it is just body trim pieces and a higher suspension. Same engine/interior/sheetmetal/etc right?

AFAIK yes, so I agree that the Stepway should be origin Romania like the standard Sandero. It's offered in other markets outside of Brazil (including the UK soon) so I'm not sure it's uniquely a Brazilian development.

It is a modified version. At what point do the origin change?
Is a pickup or sedan version a big enough change? From previous cases most seemed to think that yes.
Why a higher SUV-style version isn't? That's more than just trim.
