So As I stated here The Rabbit based Pickup (Pickup not Pick-Up) while based on the Rabbit was not called as such. So I think we should list them as Pickup Truck (or Sportruck depending on model) on the site.

I think all of these import manufacturers (VW,Toyota,Nissan,etc.) thought all us Americans wanted was a Pickup Truck or simply a Truck in the eighties...so that is the only name they gave them in our market

arg why do car companies have to be so complicated about the damn names, so after looking through all of the brochures it appears that the name was Pickup Truck from 1980-81 and then in 1982 VW dropped the Truck and it was simply named Pickup for the last 3 years...

We could just label it "Pickup" then to make it easier
