Mercedes Benz Vans in US/Canada

Yesterday, there was a Metris (Vito) van that someone suggested was "Built in Mexico", so I wanted to look into it.
Mercedes has been selling the Sprinter vans here for several years, and they are shipped from Germany in Complete Knock-Down kits (they ship the body and drivetrain separately on different ships) that are assembled in their factory in South Carolina. And those vans we leave the "Built in" category blank, so it is Origin: Germany and Made for: USA or Canada. (Starting with the new 2019 versions, they have started some full assembly in SC, but a majority are still being made from the CKD kits)
So looking at Metris van VINs, they start with a "W" (WD3 or WD4), which usually indicates from West Germany. They all have "3" in the place for the plant in their VINs. So using the VIN Decoder from the US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, it shows "Vitoria, Spain" as plant origin.
So I guess my question is do we leave the "Built in" blank, like we do the Sprinters, or enter Spain or the USA? I removed the "Built in" for the ones we have listed, some had Spain, some had Mexico.

So it is made in Spain and assembled in US?
For the future site it would be easy with setting the two countries, but here I don't remember what we decided to use for CKD kits.

Yes, they are sent from Spain to be assembled in the US.
