As we Germans kicked our Royal in the ass in November 1918, we cannot offer such an impressive list.

Emperor Wilhelm II owned an Adler and liked Benz, but as a handicapped -crippled right arm- he didn't drive himself.

Merkel's first Western car, a 1990 Golf II, was sold on auction 11 years ago and it's said, that she still owns her next car, a Golf III.

On the last Techno Classica Schröder's official VW Phaeton was shown

no idea, what a private car this moron has,

It's also unknown, what a private car Olaf Scholz has - it's uninteresting anyways as the bloke itself.

fun fact: the legendary Mercedes 600 was owned by so many governments/presidents/kings/dictators in the world - but the West German government never had one.
The 600 you see at official visits, were all loaned by Mercedes Benz.

@walter: the Royal family of Liechtenstein is Audi-client since decades.

My K 70-fellow from Luxemburg owns not only 50 K 70, also a bunch of 1st gen Range Rover.
In the 90ies he was often greeted as his Grand Duke, because he had an identical green RR with beige seats.
Later he had the chance to buy it, but he didn't, because it was too rusty.

More interesting are his cars:

Our Prince Laurent just accelerates into the driveway of the palace with a Ferrari. Never mind about "public perception" and all that. Probably my favorite royal.

And the former queen, who's Italian, drove around Brussels in a Fiat 500. But that's to be incognito, they mostly spend their time on a yacht in the Mediterranean.
