The 2009 Suzuki Alto for international markets is a rebadged Maruti A-Star, which is different than the Japanese Alto, and is supposed to be a design of Maruti.
I believe that the models Maruti Suzuki A-Star, 2009+ Suzuki Alto for EU and the rebadged Nissan Pixo should be listed with Indian origin flag at this point.
The Linkedin page of Maruti Suzuki's head of design Saurabh Singh seems to confirm this:
To his recognition and appreciation by Auto Monitor in the year 2008 he was awarded as “Young achiever of the Year” – for his work on Concept A-Star –The company’s first ever concept car.

Updated.
A few Alto without chassis code still have to be updated manually.
I also changed the hatchback to supermini, as there was a mix of both.
