Show your self-made car video

MBSL65fan gave me the inspiration. He posted his self-made car video in another thread. A while back a also made videos of my cars.

Here is the video of my Cadillac CTS

And here a video I made after the 2007 Chrysler-Neon-Meeting in Germany (my Neon is one of the bright silver 2nd gens)

If you have a car video that is made by yourself and / or includes your own vehicle I´d like to see it here. :sol:

How did you get a CTS in Germany? It's not sold there, is it?
Also I have never heard of a Chrysler Neon before  It's kind of an oxymoron isn't it?

Anyway, I think I'll take a video of my Honda or maybe our white Camry and post it, even though niether are nearly as new or as nice as any of the cars you guys have :ohwell:

If I remember well, when my father bought the Peugeot 205 in 1997 we could get a Neon for about the same price, which was quite cheap actually, especially for a car like that.

Thanks for you comments. The Neon was labeled as Chrysler in Europe since "Dodge" were not sold. Even the Viper R/T and GTS were labeled as "Chrysler Viper" in Europe. The Viper SRT10 was the 1st Dodge officially sold in Europe and next was the Caliber.
Neither the 1st (I also had a 1995 Chrysler Neon, traded in for the current Neon) nor the 2nd gen Neons were overpriced. My 1995 Neon came standard with 132 hp, AC, power doors, power windows, power mirrors, two airbags, Alpine-Radio with 6 Infinity speakers and much more. For about the same price you could get a 1995 VW Golf with 75 hp, only driver airbag, no AC etc. My 2nd Neon has the same featues, add. CD-/Cassette-player, 4-wheel-disc antilock brakes, heated mirrors and remote for the doors.
The CTS wears "DD-US 2007"-plate because I live in DresDen and purchased the CTS in January 2007. The Cadillac CTS is officially sold in Germany since 2003. My CTS has a 2.6-V6, an engine that was only in Europe available for the CTS (btw. the same 2.6 you can find in some Opel Omegas). There are only a couple of CTS' on German streets. The people over here have too many prejudices and concerns about American vehicles. What a pity!

@ ingo: the link you posted is for the STS not CTS (STS is larger than CTS)
btw.: I forgot to mention both, Neon and CTS, are equipped with manual trans though they are American vehicles.

I even saw recently a "Chrysler Ram Van" which looked like a EU-spec Dodge Caravan C/V

We've had other Cadillac models sold here before like the Seville STS, and now we have the CTS, the BLS, the Escalade, the SRX and the XLR, and soon we will have the CTS wagon

I saw that in your video, i always like to pay attention to that, anyway despite the fact that it is an american car they are sold with optional manual transmissions, so its not that rare.

Perhaps not in the States but in Europe it is possible, the brand new one is also available with manual ger boxes.

Even in the U.S. market the 1st gen CTS and the current CTS are available with manual trans. It´s either a Getrag 5-speed (my CTS) or an Aisin AY6 6-speed for the 1st gen (Tremec T56 6-speed for the CTS-V) and the Aisin AY6 for the current model.
Unlike the American base model the German CTS-models have almost all features as standard. My CTS, for instance, is loaded with leather interior/wood trim, heated front seats with 8 way power, memory package for driver´s seat and AC-, mirror- and radio-settings; BOSE-Soundsystem, heated and power folding mirrors, automatic dual zone AC, 6 airbags, power doors with remote, Xenon (HID) headlamps, StabiliTrak and much much more.
@taxiguy: It doesn´t matter how old or new your car is. Just try to make a good video and show it to us.

Here is another car video I made. It was one of my 1st attempts back in 2004. I posted it in a Neon-Forum and someone picked it up and published it on Youtube. Click!

I like that kind of videos, they are simple but i love hearing the engine of the car, specially when the car featured in the video is a car i love, like Joseph's DTS  i made one of these with my car once.

All right, here it is! Our 1988 Toyota Camry LE. She's not the newest or the fastest, but she's our Camry and I love her :icon_smile_shy:

Here is a basic video where I show the exterior and also get in and try to rev the engine a little for effect
