That Volvo is beautiful! Why is that girl so bothered about it?
Is this car stolen?
Is this car stolen?
I'm not sure, people get upset for the dumbest reasons nowadays.

Brilliance BS4. They were officially sold in Germany but they are rare because Brilliance failed massively at the Crash Test and since the famous Landwind X9 crash test (http://www.autobild.de/artikel/crashtest-jiangling-landwind-52286.html) we are a bit biased in terms of chinese cars.
Btw, i already took a seat in a Brilliance BS4!

Looks to be the same. However this one is silver, the other one appeared silver-blueish to me. But this car is so rare, it has to be the same. Both photo locations are very close together.

I'm way late in sharing, but back in July I was on a weeklong vacation with my dad, aunt, and uncle in Slovenia. We stayed up in the mountains near where my grandmother grew up, and visited sites all across the country.
Here's our rental car, an Audi Q2:
In Ljubljana (the Corvette was unexpected):
We took a daytrip to Venice. In the airport parking lot (we had to make a stop because my aunt needed to pick up something from the lost and found that she had left behind), Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio:
On the Autostrada between Venice and Trieste, Porsche 918(!):
In the parking lot at Postojnska Jama (Postojna Cave), a Ferrari GTC4 Lusso with temporary Andorra(!) license plates:
A little bodyshop somewhere with an Isetta shell and a pristine Renault 4 GTL:
In the parking lot at Koper, a classic Citroën 2CV:
In Piran, a US-spec Acura Integra:
In Triglav National Park, the driver of this huge purple bus with Greek plates thumbed his nose at the laws of physics with every narrow 180-degree hairpin he successfully negotiated:
Those roads were probably much more rewarding in this:
In Tolmin, a creatively painted Toyota Noah with UK plates:
Lancia (Autobianchi) Y10 AWD (How rare are these? I only found one on the site):
In Maribor, Citroën CX 25 Pallas IE. Someone (I think the owner) saw me taking pictures; I don;t speak much Slovenian and he didn't speak much English, but he understood when I said "nice car":
So many cars that I'd never seen in person before; I oohed and aahed over every Citroën (Do European tourists in America behave this way over Saturns?). I was thrilled to get a Peugeot RCZ and Citroën C4 Cactus in one shot:
Why would anyone take the trouble to import a plain Chevrolet Cobalt coupe?:
In Ptuj, Opel Astra Classic [F]:
And one more Renault 4:

The Cobalt is just the tip of the iceberg. You'd be surprised what US cars people in the former Eastern Block will import.

When having a car they consider as "normal" some may wonder why people take a photo of it

People are on edge and are just suspicious of anything remotely unusual. They think you are stalking/spying on them. You just like their car, but they think you are going to look up their plates and rob them or something.

#5 - I would say it's a Fifth Avenue rather than a Diplomat. Replacement door?
#6 - My younger brother had one too. A burgundy 3-door. He drove it for most of college.

I saw that exact one in Brussels, back in the summer of 2015 ! Photobucket being what it is now, my pics can't be seen anymore, so I'll try to insert one from Facebook.
Seen a few days ago in a Brussels suburb : a 2005 Toyota Noah, recently imported from Japan to Britain (it's been registered in June this year).
Manufacturer Toyota
Model Not Available
Colour Multi-Colour
Fuel Type Petrol
Engine Size 2000cc
Estimated Mileage 1,230 miles (yeah, right !)
It's a rental from the infamous Wicked Van company, complete with ugly murals & graffiti. The rear hatch slogan is quite tame compared to australian Wicked Vans, though.

Average European tourists in America ooh and aah over Corvettes, stretched limousines, big rigs and any customized car with a loud engine rumble. But I remember oohing and aahing over Saturn Auras, Buick Enclaves, that US-only Mazda 6 sedan, and many more cars, during my trips in North America.

A few interesting sights in the last few days, all without a camera:
red 2006-2010 Ford Explorer
brown Pontiac Bonneville (I don't recall the year, but it was late 70s)
US-spec BMW E38.

There have been a lot of rare/unique cars that I have seen over the past few weeks. Here they are:
2008 VW Passat Wagon 2.0t Komfort:
1986 Toyota Cressida Luxury:
With rims off a Celica, otherwise stock. Plate is from 2001.
1979 Chevy Impala Coupé:
Lowered, but still stock.
1986 BMW 325es Coupé:
1992 Chevy Caprice Classic LTZ:
Very clean considering age.
1987 Toyota Supra:
Saw this one in front of a school in Concord, CA.
1984 VW Rabbit GTI:
Saw this in the Santana Row Shopping Center in San Jose, CA.
1962 Ford Falcon Sedan:
Owner told me it was a '62.
Unfortunately I missed 3 old red Volvos, a 1989 740 Turbo Wagon (7WFK126), a 1996 850 Turbo Wagon (7JJS153) (actually this one was right behind the 740), a 1994 940 Wagon (6SRP250). I also missed a 1994 Dodge Intrepid (3HRU850), a 1990 Jeep Cherokee Limited (5ADA893), a 2003 BMW 325xi Sport Wagon (6REB888) and a 1986 Ford Bronco [i]XLT[/i} (3XYL358).
