This film was released in December 2000, not in 2001: http://www.imcdb.org/movie_161220-Air-Bud-3--World-Pup.html

A handful of New Beetles still listed with origin Germany:...

I don't really understand the point: I thought "Origin" was about the make? If I'm not mistaken no New Beetle was ever produced in the US plants (Chattanooga began production only in April 2011, and makes only Passat)...

Wikipedia says the (or some?) late-1997 to 1999 models were made in Germany, but I didn't find any clue about this...

If origin was just the make, we could make that fully automatic instead of specifying it for each car  (normally it should be specified only once per model, but the current site has no model-list management).
Origin = where the car was conceived/designed. The New Beetle was from VW's Californian offices.
Like we also have many Brazilian-origin VW.
We added the "built in" flags as additional info as often the car aren't produced in the country they were conceived.

Ok. Thanks for the explanations. If not written somewhere (but I admit I didn't search for it), it's disturbing. And not only for me :

Yes, it depends what you can a Germany car or an American car.
But if it was conceived in USA and built in Mexico, how could we call that a German car just because it carries the VW badge?
(well, we could, but then the country info would not have any interest, it would just be a make's country and not a model's country)

... it would just be a make's country...)

... which can be a mess too. Look at Fiat: registered in the Netherlands nowadays with a (more tax-friendly) London headquarters, and according to what Sergio Marchionne (the CEO) said in an interview some monthes ago, most certainly soon entirely based in USA.
No more Italian flag for the future FIAT cars, so?

That's unrelated to this thread's topic, and I do not find a really suitable replacement in the extra pics.

Some Corsa As still waiting to be turned into Corsa TRs; mind you there are some Corsa Bs and Cs in there as well which are not called TR:

Indeed, I'll change those that should be changed.
From Wikipedia:
In mainland Europe, the sedan versions were known as the "Corsa TR" until May 1985.

So the newer ones should stay as just "Corsa", I guess.

Class needs to be changed

It is a sedan changed into a convertible, in cases like that the class usually reflects the current state:
http://www.imcdb.org/search.php?resultsStyle=asList&sortBy=0&yearFrom=&yearTo=&makeMatch=- 2&make=&modelMatch=0&model=custom-made+convertible&modelInclExtra=on&origin=&madein=&madefor=&role=
(but not always :D)

The two others weren't (yet) missed. And last one does not contains any explict year info, how did you expect a change if none is asked?
