@Gomsel: if you will go there, please make a brief control-check of the boxes of the literature-dealers (if there's a market, too)

For myself only K 70-stuff is interesting. Actually I'm looking aroud for a fellow for literature from DDR-made cars, exported to Western countries. But AFAIK none of them have reached South America.

I don't know any DKW-freak, who may can be interested in Argentina-spec goodies. But I guess, the prices for that stuff will be high, as for the early aircooled VWs, too.

Not really sure about the "high prices". Have oportunities all the time (and sure, in this kind of expo's). I don't know, but probably found any interesting.

Well, such events are one of the best reasons to own a mobile phone (for me it's in fact nearly the only one). Because the hope never dies, that someone give me a call "Hey, I'm just ... and have found ..., is that something for you?" I always let it on, although I don't use it by myself.

So I guggest, that you send me an email for details, at best we change our phone numbers, that we can take the shortest line, when some discoverings may occur.

And I will seach around, what Argentinian goodies can make the local VW- or DKW-freaks crazy.

For sure yes, ingo! i have all the time my mobile phone with camera and i have a video camera. Don't forget other german cars made here:
Taunus, Sierra, Escort, Opel K-180, the trucks with Deutz diesel aircooled engine, the local-assembled De Carlo (BMW), Goliath-Hansa, Borgward, the hyperrare Teram and the Zunder (the two with Porsche engine). Ah, and for the DDR, the DINFIA Graciela - Based on a Wartburg 411-

Wow, any DINFIA Graciela-stuff would be great, for sure a much bigger rarity than the Belgian price list and British sales brochures and advertises from the Wartburg, I've digged out on the Dutch markets. From those yWou can buy anything, which is in collectable condition for reasonable prices.
50ies and 60ies stuff for fair prices would be great, too. About the newer Ford-stuff, Taunus and Sierra I'm not sure. I don't know, how crazy the Ford-freaks are. Aircooled VW-stuff is always good, Porsche even more. You can sell any Porsche-containing for good prices over here.

For sure yes. Also you can find (very difficult, but not impossible) brochures about the old Ford's (british, german & USA) sold here until 1961.
Ah, i forget the Isard's (the Glas made under licence here) and obviously, the local-made versions of Messerschmidt (Panambi), Heinkel (los Cedros) and Isetta. And here exists interesting replicas of the SSK (Pur Sang), the Dogo SS (with Mercedes-Benz engine), the incredible Donatini (8-wheeler car) with MB engine.

We are planning to visit SCO again in 2013, maybe also Glasgow, as we hadn't been there until now, but not in January. But the "Histo Monte" (nickname in Germany) is too boring, that I would go there. Always the usual boring car-stuff, masses of old Benzes, Porsches, Jags, Mustangs, Big Healeys and so on. All the clunkers, which are cluttering up other classic car events, if the organisators aren't careful.

I'm not sure, if I will go there next Saturday:
http://www.autotron.nl/evenementen/kever-winter-festijn
But last year, when I'd been there, the 140km weren't it really worth. I check dealers of VW-stuff, if there are some K 70-bits in some boxes, but an extra tour for that is not neccessary.

The event on the following week at the same location seems to be more for bikes and bicycles:
http://www.autotron.nl/evenementen/internationale-oldtimerbeurs-motoren-bromfietsen-en-fietsen-airbrushshow-2013

So I'll wait for the next general spare parts and automobila market over there.

Last year I've been there for the first time: http://www.ic-tm.nl/en/ and it wasn't really worth either. Too many premium brands, so the usal combination of boredom and high prices.

In March http://www.zentralhallen.de/OldtimerMarkt_16.html could be nice again. I've found some nice stuff there in the last years.

A question to our British members: what's more worth a trip, the May- or the September-event? http://www.beaulieu.co.uk/beaulieu-events/spring-autojumble

Yes though I'm not 100% sure if I can go and I'll not get into Glasgow until quite close to the 10O'Clock start.

Beaulieu in May will not be possible for me this year  It may would be possible to arrange a visit there with a vacations in Souther GB (it's over our wedding anniversary, so my wife wouldn't be amused, if I would stray around alone on this weekend), but I've seen, that it's the Whitsun-weekend- Which is traditionally occupied by our K 70-club-meeting.

So lets hope for 2014...

This would be great. IIRC there were not many of them until now. I've met once Animatronixx and once 130rapid and a long time ago there was nice pic of the fun-having party-people antp and sixcyl

http://www.seeglasgow.com/glasgow-monte-carlo-rally/

The showcase of Scottish Heritage cars will take place on Buchanan Street mid morning on Saturday, January 26, before the Lord Provost waves off the first car at about 2pm from Glasgow Green. Please note these times are approximate but we will update them as soon as they are confirmed, so watch this space...

So less of a problem for me as the main thing is not until the afternoon and the display in the morning is just around the corner from the train station.

Sorry, ingo  I am not really in the micro cars except for the old Matchbox cars that I have in my collection. But, thanks for the tip

Besides, it is pretty far and I am currently attending college part time right now
