hey everyone! these questions are for people who made this awesome website.
im trying to make an ICCDB,

how did you design this site?
how could you create a forum?
how were you able to make clickable links?,for example.JLG,when you click on it it pulls up JLGs,
how were you able to make a system where people can log in and be a member?
if a time ever comes,how can i ban someone on this soon to be website?
how much time did it take to make this website?

and, a very important comment,
IMCDB administrators:i know i was very annoying and didnt know much about cars,but it would mean the world to me if i could get one more chance,please,i really like this website,if you can unban me,i promise i can do better,please,this is very important to me,P.S im still really happy to be a member of the IGCD,and the IMCDB's forum.

To make a website like IMCDB, you would have to:
1) Get a server
2) Learn HTML and PHP

Learning HTML then PHP is indeed the basics. Some database (MySQL) knowledge is also required.
For the server, you have time before caring about that, if you have to start from scratch for HTML/PHP/Database first

and how do you do that?

How to learn stuff???

You can search tutorials on the web or go to the library and borrow books in the subject, you could also ask a computer technician or teacher at you school if they could arange a course?

If you think we will make the hompage for you, you think wrong!

It is not like it could be done in few clicks, it takes hours and hours of work...

Well with some motivation anything can be done

ICCDB would've been cool. I'm a great fan of Belgian comics in particular: Gaston LaGaffe, Spirou and Ric Hochet.

You could always used something like mediawiki (what the imfdb uses), instead of coding something from scratch.

even ingo thought i shouldnt be banned!on my new account as Caterpillar fan,i stoped guessing!i promised i'd do better!and i did,just tell me what i did to be banned....again.

In the few I checked they were either wrong or just repeating suggestions made earlier on the page
(and why would we ban users if we allow them to come back just by registering another username?)

i didnt know they were all wrong,i guess im justnnot good at cars.are you sure they were ALL wrong?i think it's unessesary to ban me after a promised to only help and not guess. ,since i'm useless i should just stop trying.it's not like you care weather i stay or go.
