Would be perfect there. Should have thought of it a little earlier... Next step: replacing the Pontiac with a nice classic 900 Turbo.

To resize/make transparent:
But the metallic one above would look best, if it were the same shade of yellow.

I added the metallic one
removing the background would not be very hard, but I'll do that later

Saab History is perhaps a better site to link to http://www.saabhistory.com/
it's more up-to-date about Saab gatherings around the world than rescue-saab.com

It is great news, especially for the workers in Trollhätten and the dealers.
I've been waiting for concrete plans, what I've heard from Victor Muller in interviews is just details, but that's mostly because of the stupid questions being asked... Except in the short term a re-design of the 9-3 and in the long term he wants to introduce a smaller entry level Saab 9-1. I do like how much he appreciates Saab and its history.
It is tempting to buy Spyker shares now, without looking at the figures too much.
I guess the "Save Saab" button can be taken down. Thanks antp.

It is worrying.
I thought it was starting to get a bit dodgy when they sold the sports car business the other month.
It does seem to me that Muller and the others at Spyker (or whatever they are called since they flogged off the Spyker end of the business) are a bit overly-ambitious. Much as they tried out F1 they are now trying out running a major car firm. I just hope that it doesn't end badly. I really don't hope that we see a repeat of the MG Rover situation though sadly there are some parallels there.

Saab moves to ensure parts supply
30 March 2011
* Suppliers have stopped delivering parts
* Saab says it can resolve problems in short term…
* … but is working on 'longer-term solutions'
Saab has issued a statement after parts suppliers stopped deliveries to the company during discussions over payments and terms.
Parent company Spyker Cars NV issued the following statement today:
'After a short production stop at Saab Automobile yesterday afternoon, this morning production re-started again.
'Certain suppliers halted supplies to Saab Automobile pending discussions about payments and supply terms. Saab Automobile expects to resolve these issues in the short term, and to prevent any further disruptions in supply.
'Saab Automobile has sufficient means to meet its immediate liquidity needs from existing and available sources. In addition, Saab Automobile continues to work on longer term solutions to further strengthen its financial position and improve its capital structure.'
In February, Spyker Cars NV sold the luxury and supercar arm of the company to UK coach-builder CPP for €32 million. It said the sale would allow it to focus its energy on Saab and put it in a better financial position by reducing debt and interest payments.

I don't know what to think of Saab anymore, it's like one of those bands that goes on too long, kicking along the corpse and living on past glory. Like Fleetwood Mac...
I wasn't aware Spyker had sold off their supercar division for cash, thanks for that.

Indeed... That is sad. I guess there is no luxury cars for eccentrics any more.
If there is one good thing to come out of this it is that I can begin a lucrative career as a corporate hit man. If I like a car company odds on it will go down the tubes. See SAAB, Bristol, Rover, TVR and countless others who seem to be on a sticky wicket at the moment.

And made by eccentrics Unfortunately for you this article is in German:
http://www.autobild.de/klassik/artikel/eine-autofabrik-vom-anderen-stern-60293.html
It's written about the really strange behaviour of makers (CEO would be a bit too high formulated) - and the fierce log-time-fight between the company-owner and the chairman of the Bristol Owners Club.
