Thanks, I'll add that to the report, but currently they don't seem to really find the problem :ohwell: (as they can't reproduce it)

I got streaming video at the ad that I could not stop (though, if I refreshed the page, I'll get a different ad).

what is the problem with video, though? That it uses cpu? or was there sound?

Also, they ask the page from which the ad was displayed in addition to the code (even if all pages show the same ads...)

I forgot to do that. Oh well :ohwell:

Here is another one with video/audio streaming:

<!-- [sovrn] Banner (440502 / a_440502_19334402862d4df48e86db5ea5393b93 / 105642 / 3259) -->

It didn't show up again after my audit on that page :ohwell:

It's hard to capture these videos addresses because when you hit F12, it gives the info post video, so I end up with the he same number as before. The one that's interrupting me is a Subaru Forester ad. There was a local political ad last week, but their time must have ended.

I mean the imcdb page address, which you can copy before going in F12 mode

This time, I have it. I did the audit, but when I was done with it the computer resource took over with a long script. I managed to stop it. The one I am using is IE11 32-bit.

So the problem of this ad was that it took CPU resources? Or just that it was a video ad?

Here there is no Sovrn code; wasn't there any?

The SOVRN code didn't show up on this audit. But I managed to get the properties during the video streaming. After I was done with the audit and the page was running long script, my computer has two CPU (2 cores, an old computer  ) was running 50% cycles with 1 GB of memory resource (iexplore.exe). After I stopped the long script, the CPU and the memory went down.

Apparently, my corporate web filter blocked the imcdb.org and www.imcdb.org due to othermalware:

"URL: GET http://imcdb.org/
Category: Transportation
Reason: BLOCK-MALWARE
Threat Type: othermalware
Threat Reason: Domain reported and verified as serving malware. Identified as malicious IP. Identified as malicious domain or URL.
Notification: WBRS"

I'll ask my co-worker to see which one is interfering the web filter.

the IP was recently on a blocked list, but normally it was removed in the meantime

if they can provide more info about that "malware" it would be interesting...
(not sure this is the best place for that, since it is unlikely related to ads, though that maybe it was reported as such due to a bad ad)

Unfortunately, my co-worker says that the entire imcdb.org domain is being blocked at the moment based on the information on our router :ohwell:

I'll keep you posted (I'll wait until tomorrow if it is still complaining in the router cache or not).

Okay, I just talked to the person who manages the web filtering program. He says that the Cisco web reputation complains that both imcdb.org and www.imcdb.org domain name are the source of malware. Sorry :ohwell:

I talked with my co-worker yesterday and he says that the Cisco web reputation are monitored by the company. He submitted the information that this has been misclassified. I'll let you know when I'm able to access them
