Have just found this site and it is brilliant!!
On my CarDomain page I have included pictures that I have taken of VW Golf/Rabbit cabriolets in films so thought I'd tell you, some I think you have already got, but some you haven't...
Thought it would be easier simply to link you to it etc...

As you said some are already on imcdb, but I'll add the missing ones as soon as possible

Do you get recognition for adding pics?

Sure, you can take pictures from imcdb for your site. It is better if you put a link somewhere of course to say where they come from
And as I said by private message, it will be indicated that you provided pictures, and I can put an extra link in the comments under the picture.

Done, I added the various VW Cabriolet that were missing on IMCDb
I skipped 2 or 3 that were really too much "background".
